David Moolten's verse appears widely in magazines and anthologies, and his honors include a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship and a Pushcart Prize.
He is the author of three books. His most recent, Primitive Mood, won the T.S. Eliot Prize from Truman State University Press and was published in 2009.
Plums & Ashes (Northeastern University, 1994), won the Samuel French Morse Poetry Prize, and Especially Then (David Robert Books) was published in 2005.
"Astronaut Goes From Migrant Fields To Outer Space," a short film featuring video, animation, and spoken word, screened nationally at festivals.
He lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
